Rebecca Gibson is the founder and CEO of the global growth strategy consultancy for the independent education sector, STRAT|RG. Driven by a passion for accelerated growth and long-term sustainability in the education sector—and grounded in a belief in solution-focused feedback—Rebecca leads with a commitment to delivering immediate, measurable results.
Rebecca has worked in senior commercial roles for two of the independent education sector’s giants, Cognita and Inspired Education. Leading global teams of over 50 people, Rebecca has a vast network. However, it is her experience at school level, leading marketing and admissions, which gives her an authentic understanding of the sector and enables her to consistently achieve the desired outcomes at nursery, school and group level.
Rebecca graduated from Cambridge University and also has a Master’s degree from The Courtauld Institute of Art. Her early career started in the art world, working for the world’s leading auction house, Christie’s, where she was Global Head of Copy, and later, the Global Head of Marketing for Christie’s Education, the parent company’s Higher Education institution.
As a parent of three and also, a governor at a London senior independent school, Rebecca has an innate ability to understand the parent mindset, which she translates into implementable solutions that drive growth and loyalty.
